Part 1 | The Inheritance Snake

The Boy Who Was Never Protected

Daniel Voss grew up learning one brutal truth: blood means nothing when your own mother chooses the monster over you.

Night after night, he stood between his mother Maria and his abusive stepfather Richard. He took the beatings. He took the screams. He took the broken bones.

And every single time, Maria pushed him away and ran into Richard’s arms.

The Night He Left

At 20 years old, covered in bruises and betrayal, Daniel walked out of that house with nothing but a small backpack and a promise burning in his chest.

He looked back one last time. Maria stood at the window, watching him leave… but she didn’t stop him. She didn’t even call his name.

That was the last time Daniel Voss cried.

Eight Years Later

Now 28, Daniel returned as a completely different man. Sharp black suit. Cold, powerful presence. Piercing dark eyes that had seen hell and come back stronger.

He carried two things with him: undeniable proof that Richard had murdered his real father 20 years ago… and a recording of his mother helping cover it up.

The Family Reunion

At the family dinner where Richard and Maria still played the perfect couple, Daniel walked in unannounced.

Richard smirked. Maria looked nervous.

Daniel didn’t smile. He simply plugged the USB into the TV and pressed play.

The room filled with Richard’s drunken confession — how he had killed Daniel’s real father to take his place and his money. Maria’s voice was also there, agreeing to stay silent in exchange for safety and luxury.

The truth finally exploded in their faces.
