Part 2 | The Poisoned Will

The 48-Hour Trap

According to the strange final condition in Arthur’s will, all heirs must stay together inside the mansion for 48 hours to claim their share — or everything would be burned and donated to charity.

The heavy iron doors of the wine cellar slammed shut behind them with a terrifying finality. They were locked in.

The Horror In The Cellar

The lights flickered and died. In the darkness, they found a freshly broken brick wall. Behind it lay a skeleton — still wearing a familiar necklace.

Julian’s mother. The woman who had “disappeared” 20 years ago.

Eleanor’s hands began to shake violently. Richard pulled out a hidden gun, pointing it at Julian in panic.

The Poisoned Wine

Julian stood calmly in the shadows, a small vial of antidote in his hand.

“You drank the same wine my mother drank the night you killed her,” he said coldly. “My father knew everything. He spent his last days setting this trap… for both of you.”

Eleanor clutched her throat as the poison began to take effect. Richard screamed and fired wildly, but Julian had already disappeared into a secret passage.

The Final Judgment

Julian emerged from the mansion at dawn, the first light of sunrise touching his face. Behind him, the heavy doors remained locked.

Inside, the screams of Eleanor and Richard slowly faded into silence.

He took out the original will, lit it with his lighter, and watched it burn to ashes.

The New Sterling

Julian stood on the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast weeks later, the Mediterranean wind whipping around him. His phone rang.

“Everything is ready, sir,” a voice said.

Julian smiled — a cold, calculated smile that looked exactly like his father’s.

“Good. Let the real game begin.”

Some inherit money.

Others inherit vengeance… and the cold heart to use it.

The End.
